Was recommended to LX Motors by my friend Zai and had a really good experience there. I dealt with Kelvin, who was very friendly and easy to talk to. Great customer service and no fuss at all. Went there for an engine oil change — 7 litres of Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5W-40 with an original oil filter, all for just $163. Really good value! They also have a comfortable air-conditioned waiting room, which is a big plus while waiting for the servicing to be done. Overall, good service, reasonable pricing and a pleasant experience. Changed brake pads with LX Motors for the first time after seeing their promotion on Facebook. They were very honest about the conditions of the brake pads and advised accordingly. Did an oil change with their Mobil 1 package. I think it's considered value for money - $108 for 4l and $15 for additional litre. No hard selling; the mechanic, Kelvin was friendly and provided useful advice e.g. replacing a slightly rounded oil drain plug (separately charged) to prevent future complications during servicing. They were also accommodating by allowing me to purchase an additional litre alone (they had to open 2 4l bottles; mine only used 5l) and working on the other parts of the car myself when hoisted. Been here twice, impressed at Mech Kelvin and his team, really on the ball and very time efficient. In the timeframe that other workshop takes to do 1 job, they can do 3.
